Cultural Competency: Understanding Indigenous Birth Work

This workshop will cover some history, outcomes, and what Indigenous birth work looks like today.

Key learning objectives:

- Why modern Indigenous birth work is so important

- How to know if you are ready/suited for an Indigenous client

- Indigenous birthing resources available in our area

Recommendations for further individual exploration will be provided. This workshop provides a certificate of participation for those who attend the entire duration of the class. This is an online workshop that will be hosted via Google Meet.
